Candidates of
WE THE PEOPLE

Every candidate we run makes America better. Win or Not.
Every campaign builds our movement!
How To Run
All candidates need to sign a anti-corruption pledge, meet 3 standards and get voted in by their county. This is a much faster and more transparent process than any other party.

Anti Corruption Pledge
The main goal of the anti-corruption pledge is to hold our candidates to basic ethical standards.
To ensure our candidates serve the American people, not special interests.

3 Standards
We require all candidates to follow 3 standards. (Below)
1. Top 5
2. Invest Locally
3. Show Budgets
This empowers each candidate to show how the sausage is made in politics.

A Local Vote
If you wish to run for office we govern as locally as possible. So your city or county party will be the only ones selecting your for office - unless its statewide.
It's a straightforward process of a single vote. The votes are collected using STAR voting, which is 1-5 stars per person.

Standard 1: The Top 5 Issues of your
Our candidates agree to represent the Top 5 issues chosen by We The People (WTP) members in their respective electoral district, county, or municipality.
Unlike traditional politicians who often serve special interests, WTP candidates serve the people first.
To stay accountable, every candidate must make real progress on at least 3 of the 5 priority issues during their term in office to qualify for re-election under WTP.
This built-in accountability system acts as quality control over time — something no other party offers.
It ensures our candidates stay focused on what matters most to voters while giving them a support network to help advance these community-driven projects once elected.

Standard 2: Invest in American Cities/Communities
By choosing to run with We The People (WTP), you agree to direct the budget of your department, agency, or office back into your state and local community.
Through public, open contracts - with no favoritism. A free market, not a monopoly favoring no bid contracts and decade long kickbacks.
This simple commitment profoundly changes how money works in America.
Today, government is the largest employer, investor, and financer in the country — yet most of that money disappears into no-bid federal and state contracts that rarely benefit everyday citizens.
By making these contracts competitive, transparent, and open to everyone, we unlock a new era of opportunity and local investment — creating a flow of wealth into our communities that hasn’t been seen in generations.

SHOW THE MONEY
Standard 3: Transparency/Show Budgets
You agree to publish to the furthest extent legally possible the entire budget for your department, agency or office.
This allows all to see you did step 1 and 2. That you focused on the issues your voters care about, and you directed resources to those issues, not just words.
Action is what sets our candidates apart.
By opening up budgets we can see where money is missing or misused and target the bottlenecks in the millions and billions of dollars in state and local spending - to see where we need to run people next to get quorum to control larger and larger budgets.
This allows for a systematic election to election approach by the party to the real problems preventing results in the lives of American citizens.
