WTP FLORIDA
A Citizens’ Movement for Local Leadership and Lasting Change
Our Charge
“We the People” are not spectators in the grand work of self-government—we are its authors and guardians. In Florida, we organize not around personalities or megaphones, but around neighborhoods, school districts, city halls, and county commissions. We believe a political party should be small in promises, strong in character, and faithful to the people it serves—minimal in structure, decentralized in power, and practical in results.

What Makes Us Different

Member-Driven by Design
We align the party’s incentives with the people’s interest. Our model is built to give members real power, with checks and balances and a federalized structure that mirrors the Republic.

Local First
We govern as locally as possible because the best solutions are forged where the facts are known.

Action Over Rhetoric
Talk is cheap; service isn’t. We elevate leaders who walk the talk.

A New Strategy for a New Era
Doing the same thing and expecting different results is not a plan. We pioneer a new approach for independents and emerging parties— better incentives, better outcomes.
The Florida Mission
Our Goal
To build a durable civic engine across the state—precinct by precinct, county by county—that develops capable local leaders, solves practical problems, and restores trust through measurable results.
We Commit to
1. Recruit and train local leaders who are already serving their communities.
2. Win small offices first (boards, councils, commissions) to deliver tangible improvements quickly.
3. Publish simple scorecards on promises kept, dollars saved, responsiveness, and community impact.
4. Listen more than we speak—regular town halls, open books, and rapid response to local concerns.
How You Can Help (Right Now)
There is a place for everyone. Whether you have ten hours a week or ten minutes a month, Florida needs you.

Our Florida Path to the Ballot
Ballot access is the bridge from civic work to electoral choice. We’ll keep you updated on statewide requirements, timelines, and petition drives via our Ballot Access updates—because ballot is vital for all independents.
Leadership the Florida Way
We are building a merit-based culture that recognizes doers over talkers. If you are already solving problems in your community, you are exactly who we want to lift up. We aim to promote leaders everywhere doing good.

Frequently Asked Questions

1
Q: Is this really a different kind of party?
A: Yes. We are intentionally minimalist and decentralized, giving power over what issues matter directly to local communities.
2
Q: Why so much focus on local action?
A: Because local action is the clearest test of leadership.
3
Q: What’s the strategy to grow in Florida?
A: Win where we can deliver results first, then scale.

A Closing Word
The work before us is large, but the path is clear: build the party the Constitution imagined: “of, by, and for the people” by proving it works where we live.
Let’s begin with one street, one school, one county at a time and let results light the way for the rest of Florida.
